Recreation includes hiking, swimming, surfing, and picnicking. The beach at Indian River Inlet has a large bath house with showers, food, and raft rentals. Indian River Inlet Beach Patrol took 1st place in last summers Inter-Parks Lifeguard Olympics ensuring a fun and safe atmosphere for you and your family.
Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, DE -
Located in nearby Lewes, Delaware, this beach and park features miles of shoreline and hosts thousands of visitors every year, who come for the swimming, sunbathing, hiking and biking, bird watching, and historical World War II relics. The park has a picnic area, an 18-hole disc golf course, basketball courts, and two swimming beaches. Fenwick Island, DE State Park -
Acres of pristine white sand and big waves make Fenwick Island a magnet for locals. The park is a popular spot for surfing and surf fishing, sailboarding, boogie boarding, and swimming. Located between Ocean City, Maryland and Bethany Beach, Delaware, Fenwick features a bathhouse, picnic tables, food concessions, and a historic lighthouse.
